Computer Literacy
Aims and Objectives
  • To equip students with information technology skills necessary for the modern world
  • To promote ethical education that helps students judge, evaluate, and develop the right attitude towards the information from the Internet
  • Features
Values Education is an essential element of whole-person education which aims at fostering students’ Areas/subjects and the provision of relevant learning experiences.
In this digital era, information technology is not something new but is being used in everyday life. Our curriculum teaches students the skills of searching, processing and presenting the information. We hope these abilities of seeking, acquiring and sharing knowledge can help them to cope with the fast-changing world.
Moreover, aiming at enhancing students’ problem-solving skills as well as connecting their skills and knowledge with real-life, our school has joined the Coolthink programme. This programme is co-created by The Hong Kong Jockey Club, City University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong and Massachusetts Institute of Technology in which students will learn computational thinking through coding. Students will also have the opportunity to solve problems with technology in a logical way and share their products with fellow students.
